It is Soap Dish time again my friends and this week I am dishing about the 2012 Daytime Emmy nominations! They were announced last week and I of course have some thoughts about the, as well as what the heck is going with the show being televised. I am not going to give you the full list of nominees here because, well it came out like a week ago and I am pretty sure you already know who is nominated.

I get that Jennifer Nicole Lee has worked very, very hard to look the way she looks and I will always have respect for her for sharing her story with the world. Basically, she was unhappy with her body after she gave birth to her children and decided to do something about it.

YAAAY!!! The FOX network is set to turn 25, and for its birthday it has invited some oldies but goodies to the television party!! Along with a special revival of In Living Color , FOX plans on getting together David Duchovny , Gillian Anderson and X-Files creator Chris Carter for a segment in which they will (maybe??) answer all those unanswered nagging questions about what was really ‘out there.’ Our favorite dysfunctional family is also getting some airtime, as FOX plans on bringing the whole Married With Children cast back together for a reunion! Even the cult show The Tick may be getting some special recognition! What shows would U like to see back on FOX for their Silver Anniversary??

It is Soap Dish time again and this week I am going to take a look at what went down in the soap opera world in 2011. Quite the interesting year that has everyone asking one major question, what does the future hold for daytime soap operas? Obviously the biggest thing to happen in 2011 was the cancelation of All My Children and One Life To Life.

Jimmy Kimmel has done it again! He challenged parents to post on You Tube video of ?I gave my kids a terrible Christmas present?. You may recall that he did this during Halloween, having parents tell their children that they ate all of their Halloween candy. The results were hilarious!
